Reflections and ramblings on my (lack of) understanding of connectivism, pedagogy and other theories of learning

circular arguments in connectivism?
My concern is not necessarily with the quality of the current arguments being put forward to support connectivism, they do chime with some of the idea I've encountered before such The duality of knowledge by Hildreth and Kimble, it's the risk of the circular argument based on a few people citing each other to back up their own theory without any external connections. I suppose that a *good* (ie robust) network would weed out that sort of practice, it's just that nagging worry that the kings news clothes could be on sale.
